Event Description
The Garden opens its gates late on Wednesday evenings throughout July to host a season of open-air music from Cambridge Summer Music Festival.
The Sounds Green series runs every Wednesday in July. Set on the Garden’s Main Lawn visitors can relax and enjoy an array of live music with family and friends, on a (hopefully) warm and balmy evening. Music begins at 6.15pm, lasting approximately one hour. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Garden until 8pm when the gates will close.
Picnics are welcome so bring a rug. Food and drink will also be on sale by The Garden Café; Pull Me Cheri; bar drinks by Thirsty and Jack’s Gelato home-made ice-creams.
- Due to limited capacity and to avoid disappointment all paying visitors should purchase tickets in advance available via our website using the BOOK HERE button.
- Tickets may be available to purchase on the gate on the day of each performance but this cannot be guaranteed.
- CUBG Friends & CU Students do not need to purchase advance tickets and can use membership/CU cards for entry.
Ticket Prices
- Adult: £6.00 / Concession: £5.50
Concession: over 65s and students with a recognised identification card - Children 0 – 16 inclusive: FREE – must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Student at Cambridge University: FREE – on production of a valid University Card
- Friend of CUBG: FREE – on production of a valid Friends’ Membership Card
