Event Description

In this workshop, try printing onto fabric using a heat press and learning various techniques of sublimation printing, with textiles artist Joanna Hayward. There are two session to choose from, 10.30am – 12.30pm or 2 – 4.30pm.

You’ll be introduced to various techniques of sublimation printing onto textile items using a heat press. Explore how you can apply colour by means of transfer dye papers and vinyl. Add a splash of sparkle to your items if you like, as you’ll learn how to add metallic foils while utilising recycled plastics to enhance your prints. For 13 – 18 year olds.
