Romeo and Juliet, Wednesday 31st July, 6.15pm
It’s a big welcome back to Holkham for Heartbreak Productions as they join us in the walled garden for live outdoor theatre! Join us for this super glam outdoor adaptation of Shakespeare’s star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet where you are invited to an exclusive, glittering red-carpet event attended by notorious celebrity families, The Montagues and the Capulets. The age recommendation for this show is 8+ and the actors will be performing in half modern English, half Shakespearean verse.

The Jungle Book, Wednesday 7th August, 6.15pm
Returning to Holkham for the third year, Strange Fascination Theatre present a new and original stage adaption of Kipling’s classic tale ‘The Jungle Book’. Holkham’s walled garden will once again be the backdrop for an evening of live theatre!
Join Mowgli, Baloo, the fearsome Shere Kahn and many other favourites in this unique retelling of the popular classic for the open air.

The Legend of King Arthur, Wednesday 14th August, 6.15pm
Boxtree Productions invite audiences to Holkham’s walled garden, complete with a picnic to join us in the open air to enjoy this classic tale of Arthur, a sword and the Knights of the round table. With inventive staging, original songs and magical storytelling we will give you an experience you will be talking about for years to come!

Gangsta Granny, Wednesday 21st August, 5.45pm
Heartbreak Productions invites you to share in this exciting escapade, a David Walliams best seller adapted for the outdoor stage. Join us in Holkham’s walled garden along with Ben, and his Gangsta Granny on their grandest adventure full of forbidden fun.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wednesday 28th August, 6.30pm
Enjoy a glorious summer evening in Holkham’s walled garden, watching one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies performed by the UK’s premier all male theatre company The Lord Chamberlain’s Men who invite you to join them to celebrate their 15th year with ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Performed by an all male cast with with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance, this supernatural comedy of mischievous fairies, confused lovers and rude mechanicals is an intoxicating tale of clarity found from chaos as tangled love gives way to happily ever afters. “Lord, what fools these mortals be!”
