Introduction to Oil Painting (Taster Day)

Never picked up a paint brush? Always wanted to try oil paint? Then this is the class for you. Using simple principals and a pared down approach you’ll be immersed into a world of pigment and oil. Discover its enduring appeal as the most versatile and interpretive of mediums. Using a simple palette, we will explore the principals of mixing colour. Brush choices, mediums, canvas and priming will all be covered along with palette craft and care. You will recreate a classic example of a well-known painting, unpick its secrets and take away your own version.

All materials provided. Includes refreshments and a light lunch.
