Event Description

H’arts in Mind: Drawing our way back to health is an exhibition displaying the works of members of local charity, H’arts in Mind.

H’arts in Mind is led and run by people with lived-experience of mental health challenges. We support people living with mental health challenges and promote well-being through the use of Art. Art is a tool that can help people communicate and/or help us to process difficult thoughts and feelings.

The pieces in this exhibition explore the many facets of mental health and highlight the structural challenges many of our members have experienced mental health services and health care. This exhibition is the finishing point of our residence but just one step in our journey.
