SHOWCASE EVENTS
Folk in the Town – 27th and 28th July
This year we have two showcase events – open to anyone who has not played the festival before – to be held in King’s Lynn during the Hanse Festival on Sunday 12th May in the environs (i.e. venue not absolutely finalised) of Marriots Warehouse and on Saturday 22nd June at The Bandstand, Hunstanton. Only 8 slots available at each venue, winners get a slot at Folk in the Town and a cash incentive.

Already booked to appear are: The Georgia Shackleton Trio, Blakeney Old Wild Rovers, Ludlam Pikes, The Larks, Matt Watson, The Fried Pirates, Kelly Pritchard and Kev Walford, Schrodingers Strings, Rum Dogs and headlining on the Sunday BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees Gentlemen of Few.
