Explore the wild beauty of the African savannah – in the heart of Bedfordshire – at Woburn Safari Park during its special anniversary year!

Woburn Safari Park has over 300 acres of wildlife reserves, taking you on a Road Safari adventure with rhino, giraffes, tigers, antelopes, lions and bears. Continue through the Foot Safari and discover fascinating talks and demonstrations with lemurs, sea lions, meerkats and many other animals.

Don’t forget to head to Elephant Meadow, it’s the only place in the UK where you’ll get close enough to touch these magnificent creatures! Then hop on board the Great Woburn Railway and ‘herd’ on over to meet and feed the friendly alpacas.

There are plenty of free leisure activities included in your ticket price too, such as the new outdoor play area, Jungle Jamboree, the indoor soft play area, Mammoth Play Ark, and the swan and dragon boats.

There could be no better time to visit either, as 2020 is a special year for Woburn Safari Park as they celebrate the Park turning 50 years old!

From May half term, the Park will be holding a special event every weekend throughout the summer – you’ll be able to meet favourite characters at the park for special meet and greet sessions, narration performances and take part in a quiz trail.

Old friends Peppa Pig, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol will be back for more safari adventures, plus some new visitors to the park include Peter Rabbit, Paddington, Hey Duggee, Bing & Flop, the Penguins of Madagascar and Minions Bob and Kevin!

There will also be a special celebration on the 23rd May, with performers, activities and the chance for lucky visitors to win some fantastic prizes on the big day.
