TEDDY ROCKS FESTIVAL, DORSET

Teddy Rocks Festival started with a small gig in 2011 to raise money for Teddy20, a children’s cancer charity founded by Tom Newton and his family after he lost his 10-year-old brother Ted to very rare bone cancer.

Highest Point festival was established as a tribute to A Wing founder (along with James Scahill and Richard Dyer) Chris Glaba who also worked for Skiddle, who unfortunately lost his cancer battle.

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL

17th – 20th June 2021

Although from 1968 through to 1970, the Isle Of Wight festival was a counter-culture event held on the island, in 2002 when it was revived it became one of the biggest and best.

The Shambala Festival in Northamptonshire is for all the family, and those who head to Shambala will find so much to keep them entertained throughout the weekend.

Circus performances, talks, cafes, art, kids activities and a whole host of workshop. Whilst the line-up may be a closely guarded secret, one thing is for sure that if you head to Shambala then you, and all your family will have a great time! 

READING FESTIVAL, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

27th – 29th August 2021

A rite of passage for British festival-goers, these dual-running festivals will rejig themselves slightly for 2021, with two main stages hosting six headliners from the worlds of rock, rap and beyond.

Line-up includes; Stormzy, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Post Malone, Disclosure, Liam Gallagher, Queens of the Stone Age and more.

VICTORIOUS FESTIVAL, PORTSMOUTH

27th – 29th August 2021

While the Victorious Festival may not be entirely free, for children a kid’s ticket costs £1 per day. Even the adult tickets are only £35 a day, which by today’s standards is not too much at all. Not when you consider the setting and the spectacular line-up. Two Door Cinema Club, Rudimental and New Order headline, with The Special, Doves, Bloc Party (performing Silent Alarm in full), James Bay, Clean Bandit, The Vaccines and Plan B. Plus, a whole host of others too numerous to mention here. Fans of all kinds of music will find something they can bop, jump around or just sit and enjoy watching.

CARFEST SOUTH, HAMPSHIRE

CarFest South is part of the double-event organised by Radio DJ and TV present Chris Evans. Created in 2012 as an opportunity to celebrate both his appreciation of live music and love of classic cars.

With a history that dates back to 1965, this long-running 5-day music festival has been offering up fantastic music in the small village of Towersey.

Norfolk Spectacular presents Sundown Festival which takes place at the Norfolk Showground in Norwich.  This festival promises to have that great fun-filled atmosphere with plenty of entertainment.

LET’S ROCK, ESSEX

11th September 2021
Following the success of other Let’s Rock festivals up and down the country, Hylands Park in Chelmsford plays host to Essex’s edition. Known as The Retro Festival.

SOUTHDOWNS FOLK FESTIVAL, SUSSEX

16th – 19th September 2021
Southdown Folk Festival is set in Bognor Regis in Sussex by the Sea each year at the end of September. The festival began in 2013 and it brings the best of British folk and roots acts to the country.

CANTERBURY FESTIVAL, KENT
