If you haven’t made any plans for the weekend, or even midweek, visit The Terrace Restaurant at The Ickworth – it has the perfect alfresco scene! No booking required, pitch up at one of the tables and enjoy an expertly mixed cocktail to a perfectly chilled glass of Perrier–Jouët. When you’re hungry or fancy a nibble, order a sharing or small plate, or a pizza made in our own pizza oven. Delicious! Open from midday, everyday (weather pending) during July and August, and don’t forget to put Saturday and Sunday evenings in your diary, an exceptional acoustic musician will be performing live.
With so much space in our walled garden there’s oodles for children to do; explore the play area, find the gigantic giraffe, play hide and seek in the meadow and have fun making new friends, leaving you to relax in the secluded and tranquil setting soaking up the summer sun. At 4pm daily in the garden, the crèche team will whisk the children off to far flung lands during story time! Don’t forget to bring your doggie, our resident hotel dog Peaches loves to meet new friends!
