The British American Committee will host Steel Bones Celebration
Day on 24 Oct.
2016, on RAF Mildenhall to celebrate the Steel Bones charity and its accomplishments in the amputee communities across the U.K. The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., featuring prosthetic experts and inspirational speakers to support amputees and their families.
Steel Bones is a charity working to bring together amputees, determined to give the latest news on stump health, useful services, therapists, personal trainers and flexible careers opportunities.
Their emphasis is to bring together the entire family, rather than just the amputees, to focus on all aspects of family life and how each amputee family can connect, motivate and inspire each other. The organization also reaches to increase and improve services for amputees across the country.
The Celebration Day will include a barbeque, health and wellness coaches and games for the whole family. STEEL BONES has received fantastic support from the local business community particularly from ComputerScene Technical, Limelight Design and Print plus West Row Coaches who are assisting generously with the logistics of the day, for which they are very grateful for.
Amputees wishing to attend should contact Leigh Joy-Staines, Steel Bones co-founder on 07486 370514.
