Felixstowe Glow Walk returns for spooky Hallowe’en fun! Popular fundraiser also comes to Stowmarket for first time
Felixstowe sea front will once again come alive with a spooky night of family fun as East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) hosts its Hallowe’en Glow Walk.
EACH will also bring its spooktacular fun to Stowmarket for the first time this year.
The spooky walk (2 miles in Felixstowe and 3 miles in Stowmarket) will take place simultaneously between 6pm and 8pm on Saturday, 28 October, with families of all ages encouraged to attend in their best fancy dress.
Tricks and treats in Felixstowe begin and finish at the town leisure centre in Undercliff Road West, while the Stowmarket Glow Walk starts and finishes at Finborough School. A mini disco will end the evening at both venues.
Tickets cost just £7 per child and £2 per adult. Those prices include special light up head boppers and a medal for children, plus refreshments. Fancy dress is optional but prizes will be awarded for best homemade costume as well as for those who raise the most sponsorship.
Natasha Brame, EACH Suffolk Community Fundraiser, said: “This will be the third year we’ve brought our Glow Walk to Felixstowe and we’re confident everyone will have as much fun as they’ve had before.
“We’re also bringing the event to Stowmarket for the first time, which we’re really excited about. Families can be assured of a great evening with some spooky surprises along the way, so please do join us!
“All the money raised from the Glow Walks will help us continue to care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and provide support for their families.”
EACH currently provides care and support to 222 children, young people and family members from The Treehouse – its hospice in Ipswich – which is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time.
