The latest series of livestream talks featuring celebrated authors and TV personalities begin this month, produced by Fane Online in partnership with Brighton Dome, ideal entertainment during lockdown evenings at home.

Internationally renowned and emerging personalities from the worlds of literature, television and journalism will host live discussions and readings to coincide with the release of their latest books. Tickets start from £10, with an option to purchase the book at a discounted price, with selected authors offering signed copies. The talks are filmed at the highest quality with speakers in different locations, delivering an intimate at-home experience that can be viewed again for up to seven days.

Forthcoming dates include Julia Quinn, the author behind the smash hit Netflix series Bridgerton, sharing her inspiration behind her favourite characters and the process of turning her popular books into a global TV phenomenon. Stacey Dooley discusses her remarkable career so far, where she’s headed next and how news and investigative journalism are evolving in a highly polarised global political climate. Much-loved comedian, actor and presenter Mel Giedroyc celebrates the publication of her funny, tender and timely new book, The Best Things, in what promises to be an entertaining and life-affirming evening. American writer Kiley Reid discusses her debut novel, Such a Fun Age, and explores what made it resonate so sharply with readers across the globe. Raven Smith, Britain’s sassiest social commentator, reflects on the importance we place on the least important things and our frivolous attempts to accomplish and attain, to celebrate the paperback publication of his book Trivial Pursuits.

Fane is one of the UK’s fastest growing production companies, working with inspiring voices from across the cultural spectrum. Fane Online is launched in partnership with Brighton Dome and several regional theatres and independent bookshops across the UK, helping to support the arts sector during the coronavirus crisis. Tickets purchased through Brighton Dome directly benefit the organisation while it remains closed due to lockdown restrictions.
