Catch some of the latest cinematic releases on one of Europe’s biggest screens, with a host of famous faces starring in animation, adventure, romantic, sci-fi and thriller blockbusters. Titles include Trolls (U), The Girl on the Train (15), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (12A), Dr. Strange (12A) and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (12A) to name a few; all at affordable prices at your local theatre.

Spring 2017 looks to be a family fun-filled season, including not one but two pantomimes – oh yes there is! Celebrating its 10th anniversary Christmas pantomime, the Grove Theatre welcomes you in to the magical world of Aladdin, starring Corrie’s Brian Capron, Ed Petrie from CBBC and Britain’s Got Talent’s Kieran and Sarah. The feel-good factor of pantomime continues with The Wizard of Oz, the Easter pantomime in Spring 2017, starring Ashleigh and Pudsey, winners of Britain’s Got Talent, and comedy legend Bobby Davro. Pantomime is not all that families can look forward to – oh no it isn’t – prepare the family to be mesmerised by the mystical Cirque Enchantment, children’s ballet Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Northern Ballet, and awesome magic with Jamie Raven live!

If you’re looking for something to tickle your funny bone, then check out the top line-up of comedians this season including Al Murray, Omid Djalili and Jon Richardson. Spring 2017 also sees the return of Live at the Grove with a line-up of top TV comedians. And for the more regular fix of belly laughs, join the Barnstormers Stand Up Comedy nights, with a fresh line-up of comedians from the London circuits each month.

Live & Encore Screenings this season are truly gripping, with heart-wrenching as well as heart-warming tales, broadcast live or as repeats from London’s most sought after venues. Titles of Spring 2017 include No Man’s Land starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, The Tempest, Amadeus, Saint Joan and Madama Butterfly.

For music lovers, there’s a real tribute to some of the greatest artists of your time. Enjoy some of the most beautiful, romantic ballads of Neil Diamond, with Real Diamond: The Neil Diamond Rocks Tour; shout I’m Still Standing as you’re on your feet for up tempo dance floor classics with I’m Still Standing: The Elton John Songbook; there’ll be No More Lonely Nights wishing to relive the songs of Paul McCartney with Macca: The Concert; and celebrate Irish music, humour and ‘craic’ as the story of The Dubliners is told through Seven Drunken Nights.

This season introduces new children’s themed Afternoon Teas, giving you and your little ones the chance to indulge in a delicious afternoon at the theatre, with the magical twist of some of your favourite stories and films. To dine like the wonderful Wizard of Oz, join the theatre’s Munchkin’s Muchly Moreish Afternoon Tea, or to experience a wonderland of treats, enjoy the Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea.

And not forgetting the theatre’s championing of young people’s development with our education programmes. The Grove Theatre will be hosting auditions in the spring, for the next Grove Production Project, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR, looking for aspiring actors, singer and dancers, as well as interest for rolls backstage in set and lighting design. The theatre will also be offering the regular courses for young people with Disco Ducks, Grove Youth Theatre and Grove Academy, as well as the introduction of Arts Awards to our Grove Youth Theatre, to give young people even more learning and recognised achievement opportunities.

So there’s a reason to have a spring in your step as you pick up a Spring 2017 Brochure from the theatre from Monday 21 November or after visiting www.grovetheatre.co.uk.arts award
