Love is in the air! With 14 February just around the corner, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate the songs that make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Lovebirds and romantics can join Robert Habermann at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch from 8pm as he sings 50 of the greatest love songs ever written.
Setting the mood with passion and charm, award-winning Robert Habermann provides the perfect Valentine’s Day soundtrack. From swooning 1950s ballads to contemporary pop songs, Robert takes his audience on a journey of some of the 20th Century’s greatest love songs, talks about the stories behind them and ends in a medley of 20 of the most popular. This toe-tapping evening features Unchained Melody, Moon River, We’ve Only Just Begun, As Time Goes By, Fever and more.
Discovered by legendary American singer Margaret Whiting, Robert has had the pleasure of performing with Margaret Whiting, Kay Starr, Steve Ross, Rosemary Squires and the late Loonis McGlohon – who wrote songs for Sinatra.
Prepare to be serenaded whilst relaxing with a drink from the bar at My Funny Valentine – The World’s Great Love Songs. The performance starts at 8pm in the theatre’s foyer. Tickets are £10.50.
