The Fair is always a popular event, with people returning each year to get some great Christmas gifts. Packed full of beautiful crafts and featuring a wide range of well-designed items to suit all pockets, the fair is free entry.

Joining the event this year is locally-based novelist, Simon Edge, who has written three critically acclaimed novels  – his latest book features Sir Thomas Gainsborough and is partly set in Sudbury.

Animal and wildlife lovers will enjoy looking at the wonderful wildlife photography by Peter Clayton, animal and livestock portraits by Mark Edward Coombe, PM Art & Design’s animal prints and mugs plus some wonderful bronze sculptures of British wildlife from The Wood Monkey.

Visitors can sit down and enjoy some delicious homemade cakes with a cup of tea, all served in lovely vintage style crockery, courtesy of Plum Fairy, who will be running the tearoom.

Other Stallholders include Capricorn Crafts; makers of wooden toys, games and personalised items, Mrs Button’s Chocolates, Potterswick candles & diffusers, Nanuk Jewellery and Blooms of Felt with their beautiful felted wreaths. A full list of makers can be viewed at www.wearehandmade.co.uk.
