Event Description

Join us for Strange Feelings this Bank Holiday weekend come to find interactive sensory sculpture hidden within the moated walled gardens of this beautiful country house!

Strange Feelings is a sculpture Trail featuring the work of established UK and international artists with much of the work commissioned especially for the event.

The show considers themes of connection and our sensorial experience of the world post-pandemic with artists responding through a wide variety of different mediums.

You will find Inflatable, squishy, bouncy, mesmerising kinetic and aural works along with hiding spaces and mobile carry-around fabric sculptures.

For people who experience sensory processing issues an extra “quiet” day has been added Monday, the 28th of August 12 o’clock till 5 o’clock.

The Woodlands surrounding the garden will also be open for people to have and enjoy a picnic.

By car: please enter at the front of the house.

Accessibility: plastic and shingle pathways best suited to all-terrain and electric wheelchairs. One manual all-terrain chair is available on loan at the site.
