Event Description

Complimentary Sparking Welcome Drink: Glass of sparkling wine, tea or coffee upon arrival.

Our Story:  More than 40 years of Nottinghamshire vineyard life. 20 minutes

Vineyard View: The vines at Eglantine Vineyard are more than 40 years old, we’ll tell you about the varieties we grow and how we care for them to ensure the highest quality grapes by harvest time.  25 minutes

• The winery is next to the vineyard so there is minimal walking required.
• The vineyard is grassy, the ground is uneven and can be wet.
• Please dress appropriately, we suggest sturdy shoes, a wind/waterproof and sunscreen.

Wine making and tasting to include 4 wines made right here in the winery.  We’ll introduce you to each wine and the method used to make it:

• English Sparkling using the ‘traditional’ or ‘classic’ champagne method.
• Still white or rose
• Red wine
• Sweet wine
• Over-18s only. We operate a ‘Challenge 25’ policy so please bring ID if you would like to buy or taste any wines.
• At the end you’ll have a chance to buy wines or gift vouchers for others to take a tour.

The complete experience lasts up to 2 hours.

Travel

• Eglantine Vineyard winery address is Eglantine Vineyard, Ash Lane, Costock LE12 6UX
• We suggest booking a taxi, taking the bus or organising a lift especially if you want to enjoy our wines.
• Find us, just off the A60 between Nottinghamshire and Loughborough, between Bunny and Costock at the top of Bunny Hill.
• Parking is free.
• Bus schedule, the Kinchbus 9 route runs to the end of Ash Lane.  The half mile walk will take less than 10 minutes.
• Taxis should be booked to collect you 2 hours and 15 minutes after the start time

• Unfortunately, the winery is unsuitable for children.
• Wheelchairs can be accommodated in and around the winery, we apologise that there are no accessible toilets.
