Event Description

On the afternoon of Sunday 23rd June, join us for Shere Open Gardens. Shere – one of the most picturesque villages in Surrey, nestling at the foot of the North Downs between Guildford and Dorking – will be opening its garden gates and inviting visitors to view over 15 beautiful private gardens. There will be garden inspired installations around the village, a tempting plant sale, a Pimms stall run by the cricket club, and the parents of Shere School will serve homemade tea and cakes in the village hall. This is not-for-profit event raising funds for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and other local village causes. 

Location: Shere, off A25 halfway between Guildford and Dorking (SATNAV GU5 9HE).

Date: Sunday 23rd June 2024.

Time: 2pm – 6pm.

Free Parking: provided (well signposted).

Refreshment: Teas served in the Village Hall and Pimms Stall by the stream.

Dogs, with the exception of Guide Dogs, will only be allowed in a few gardens.

Tickets: adults £8, over 65’s £7, under 16’s are free.

Tickets are available online now, and on the day at the car parks and village hall.
