Event Description

Join artist Anna-Marie Garrett at Watts Gallery for Saturday Sketch: Slow Gaze in Nature – Artists’ Village for mindful drawing outdoors in the Gallery grounds.

Ground yourself through breath and being in nature, then enjoy a short, guided meditation in the landscape. The class then flows into warm-up sketches and longer drawings. No previous drawing experience is necessary, the workshop focuses on the process of sketching to build mindful connections to non-human nature in slowed time.
