Event Description

Bring your dancing shoes for a feast of Balkan, Romani and Eastern European traditional dance music. Join us for the DARKFEST closing party and a journey to the east.

High energy 8 piece Raka are named after a traditional Bulgarian dance. Full of leg kicks, clicking heels and hands held high, their unmistakable groove gets everyone to their feet. Not ‘fusion’ but a genuinely authentic repertoire brought from the sweaty back rooms of North London clubs to Portsmouth for one night only.
