Admission: Adult £12.00, Senior £10.00, Child £3.00, Mum goes HALF-PRICE when accompanied by any fare-paying Adult, Senior, or Child ticket holder.

Every Mum travels HALF-PRICE with any accompanied ticket holder on Mothering Sunday, and she also receives a small posy of flowers with the compliments of the railway’s volunteers. All the while your steam locomotive is lazily billowing steam past your window or the vintage diesel is growling its way along the line on the gentle 50-minute round trip. With lovely views gradually opening out to Whiteleaf Cross in the distance, plus the Red Kites often whirling overhead, it is surely going to be the perfect Mothering Sunday treat. There are 6 timetabled trains that you can choose from; CHINNOR departures are 09.30, 11.00, 12.15, 13.35, 15.00 & 16.30, PRINCES RISBOROUGH departures are 10.15, 11.35, 12.50, 14.10, 15.35  & 17.05. You could also make it extra special and book delicious cream teas which are served in the Afternoon Tea Car on the 13.35, 15.00 and 16.30 departures from Chinnor. Advance booking for cream tea reservations can be ordered separately and will be available online.
