Kentwell Hall is a privately owned historic Tudor house with stunning gardens and a “surprise around every corner”
Kentwell Hall dates back to the 1500’s and is one of England’s finest Tudor houses.
Despite its size it is very relaxed and is mixed with an individuality created by its current owners, that is not often seen is great historic properties these days.
Kentwell offers the visitor a journey through time from the great Tudor kitchen, the Gothic centre block to the State bedroom that was created for the then Duke of York.
There are many stunning and important works of art including 15th century pictures and tapestries
The organic gardens and grounds are a combination of ancient features and more recent modern landscaping and planting that offers the visitor visual displays of seasonal colour and fragrance all the year round.

- The borders in the Walled Garden
- The Wildlife Meadows
- The UK’s largest sculptured Cedar tree which is located on the Cedar lawn
- The Pied Piper Topiary hedge
