Glass Fusion Workshop

Sunday 8th December 9.30am to 12.30pm

Come and join us in this fun and personalised workshop learning to create you own piece of hand made glass fused art work. Spend a morning relaxing and enjoy your creativity flow while trying something new.

This Christmas feel workshop will introduce you to a wide variety of accessory glass, making 4 personalised tags perfect as decorations for your home, tree, present tags or gifts for your loved ones.

Our tutor Katherine Wilson will guide you through the step by step process, giving you the opportunity to get hands on with your glass creation.

Perfect for beginners, no cutting of glass involved.

Outline of the morning

9.30 am     Welcome with refreshments and meet your tutor Katherine

Introduction to working with materials and glass

Start to work on designing and making your tags

11.00 am      Refreshments

Continue where you left off

12.30 pm       Finish

Your unique piece will then be taken away by Katherine to be fired and ready for pick up or be posted to you (a small charge for postage) in 1 weeks time.

Please note – all materials and refreshments including snack are included in the workshop price. Nothing to remember to bring, just yourself, it couldn’t be easier! So book now.

 

About Katherine Wilson

A self employed designer and maker of traditional stained glass contemporary glass pieces. Katherine prides herself on creating pieces that show the clarity and colour of glass, using simple shapes and bold colour combinations. Her focus is on creating functional pieces, which can be worn everyday or used in the home.

To ensure the quality of your personal experience, group size will be limited to 10.
