Event Description

Find out what kind of game player you really are as Game Plan: Board Games Rediscovered exhibition, on loan from the V&A’s Museum of Childhood, comes to The Base, Greenham from Friday 25 June until Sunday 5 September.

This interactive exhibition includes some of the most iconic, enthralling and visually striking games from the V&A’s outstanding national collection of board games.

Alongside family favourites such as Cluedo and Trivial Pursuit, and traditional games like chess, the exhibition will look at historical board games including The Game of the Goose and other beautifully designed games from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Collect a bag of playing counters on your way in to the exhibition to enjoy the games tables within and discover what kind of game player you are

You can also pop your Sherlock hat on as, whilst visiting The Base, families can pick up a free activity sheet and hunt for answers all over the building in a game of ‘Clue Search’. The winning entry will receive a family ticket to Wildlife Photographer of the Year 57 at The Base in 2022!
