Event Description

Silverstone is preparing for a sell-out FORMULA 1 ROLEX BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2019 and has lined up a blistering weekend of entertainment, on and off the track. The world’s best-loved motor racing championship, with 21 Grands Prix across five continents, takes centre stage at Silverstone, the home of British motorsport, from 12 – 14 July.

An action-packed weekend at Silverstone will include a busy timetable of track sessions. In addition to the British Grand Prix, the support series with the up-and-coming F1 drivers of the future, battling it out in Formula 2 and Formula 3, will provide exciting racing from lights out to chequered flag.

The entertainment around the track complements the unrivalled racing action with live bands and DJ sets from Friday to Sunday. Razorlight will be headlining on Friday night, with Craig David presents TS5 on Saturday and Soul II Soul closing out the weekend on Sunday. The Entertainment Zone near to the main stage will feature popular outdoor attractions for young and old. The F1 Fanzone will include plenty of Formula 1 themed activities and the Family Zone is dedicated to catering for the younger fans. Down at Stowe Corner there will be a Sports Zone and a chance to try out some new games, while the Street Zone will feature street food and roving performers. Add in the not-to-be-missed air displays and the famous post-race track walk after the Formula 1 race and you have a bumper weekend of fun.

There’ll be a feast of British drivers to support during the weekend. Five-times World Champion Lewis Hamilton has earned his place as one of the greats of the sport, with a superlative season in 2018. He’s joined on the F1 grid by two rookie British racing drivers, 21 year old George Russell and 19 year old, Lando Norris.  In Formula 2, three British drivers will be flying the flag for the home nation, with Callum Ilott racing with the Sauber Junior Team, Jack Aitken driving for Campos Racing and Jordan King behind the wheel for MP Motorsport. The Formula 3 grid includes a trio of Brits, Max Fewtrell, Raoul Hyman and Jake Hughes.

A range of ticket, hospitality and accommodation options are available to suit all race fans needs. The popular campsites around the circuit provide first class facilities with on-site entertainment for the lively racegoers and quieter areas for the more laid-back visitors and families. With general admission from £50 on Friday, a choice of grandstand seating all round the circuit, the new T1 Enclosure package with dedicated street food vendors, bars and screens, a selection of other trackside hospitality options from just £139 on Friday, through to the premier package of Formula 1 Paddock Club, Silverstone has something for everyone.

Tickets for the FORMULA 1 ROLEX BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2019 are from £50, plus delivery charge, and full details on the weekend, with ticket prices, camping, hospitality and entertainment information are available at
