A real Christmas tree makes your home look very festive, but what do you do with it in the New Year? Farleigh Hospice can collect and recycle your real tree for you.

There are lots of reasons why signing up to Farleigh’s Christmas tree recycling service is such a fantastic idea – we will collect your tree from outside your home; you won’t have to wait in a long queue at your local rubbish tip; your tree doesn’t go to waste and it is put to good use.
It is the seventh year that we have been providing this useful, environmentally-friendly service. Last time, we collected 2,678 trees which were shredded into wood chippings and used as bio mass fuel and on pathways in cemeteries and parks.
Anyone using our 2023 recycling service can make a donation when they register their tree – so you can also support your local hospice. These donations are vital in helping us to continue to provide care and support to those affected by life limiting illness and bereavement both within our Hospice and out in our community across mid Essex.
Tree collections will take place across mid Essex between the 6th and 8th January 2023 in Braintree, Burnham, Chelmsford, Coggeshall, Danbury, Dunmow, Kelvedon, Maldon, Southminster, South Woodham Ferrers, Stock and Witham as well as the surrounding villages and areas.
Please register your tree by 10am on 4 January 2023.
