Event Description
Come and discover one of Elgar’s most haunting and passionate works. In the first half of the twentieth century it was not a success with audiences, although Elgar himself was very proud of it. Nearly 50 years later, Jacqueline du Pré revived it in a famous recording, and it remains a popular and highly-regarded piece. With Lucy Walker.
