Dersingham Open Gardens and Art Trail celebrates its Ruby Anniversary.

Sunday 26^th May and Bank Holiday Monday 27^th May  11am – 5pm

 

Spring is nearly here and it’s time to start planning a visit to our Ruby Anniversary  Dersingham Open Gardens and Art Trail.  This year is an exciting one for us.  Around a dozen wonderfully diverse gardens will be open to wander around, with some new ones added to the old favourites.  Local artists will be opening their studios showing paintings, glasswork, pottery and photography, many of which will be available for purchase.  In addition, we now have a fabulous new Village Centre. There, on Sunday at 2pm, we will be presenting a Gardeners Forum to hear advice from experts on a myriad of garden related topics such as tree surgery, ponds, lawn care and garden design. Each talk will last about 10 minutes with an opportunity for Q & A afterwards. The experts will be around during the course of the afternoon to answer any further questions. On Monday, also at 2pm, we are planning a Floral Demonstration. Morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea will be available on both days in the Main Hall of the Village Centre. Some of the gardens will also be offering refreshments. The garden visits will be enlivened by quizzes for young and old. So, as you go around the gardens, keep your eyes open for clues.

Tickets cost £4 in advance from Dersingham Post Office and £5 on the day from Dersingham Village Centre, with proceeds being shared between the Village Centre and St Nicholas Church.
