Can you believe it’s been 10 years since we started Custard Comedy?
To celebrate, we’re putting on a very very special show, with four headline quality acts, on April 12th.
Featuring Zoe Lyons, Paul Sinha, Jonny Awsum and Laura Lexx, the night starts at around 8.15pm and tickets begin at just £10 plus booking fee.
In 2004 Zoe Lyons‘ debut Edinburgh show was nominated for the if.comedy newcomer award. She has numerous TV and radio credits to her name, including Mock The Week, Mcintyre’s Road Show, Live at The Apollo, The News Quiz etc etc. “Probably the most impressive British female comic on the circuit” The Skinny.
Medically qualified Paul Sinha is now a critically acclaimed international stand up. In 2006 his solo show Saint or Sinha was nominated for the If.comedy (formerly Perrier) award at the Edinburgh Festival. He has also made frequent appearances on Radio 4 favourites News Quiz, Just a Minute, and The Now Show.
In 2014 he was voted “Best Club Comedian” in the annual Chortle Awards and since 2011 has been one of the “Chasers” on ITV’s award winning quiz show The Chase.
Jonny Awsum has performed his special feel-good brand of musical comedy around the world. Jonny has been traversing the UK and indeed the World. In 2017, Jonny performed his musical comedy on Britain’s Got Talent, winning a unanimous vote of approval from the judges. “Absolutely brilliant”- Amanda Holden.
Our MC is Laura Lexx, one of the most effortless comedians making a splash in the comedy scene today. She indulges her audience with childish glee and attention, and her shows are never the same twice. She recently made her debut on Live at The Apollo. “A bouncy, bubbly stand-up star” The Telegraph.
