Event Description
After ten years of running comedy nights in South Cambridgeshire, we’re delighted to be returning to Storey’s Field Centre in Eddington on February 14th. The night starts around 8.15pm and the bill is completely brilliant.
Headline Act – Matt Price. Matt price may look like the bloke who has been sent over to fix your radiator, but he’s also a craftsman of funny stories and a master of friendly audience banter. He tells the sort of jokes you’ll be trying to tell your work mates the following day and is a very experienced compere. He gets real live audiences roaring with laughter night in, night out in every corner of the U.K. and all over the world. “Price is a terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller” The Scotsman.
Opening act – Jack Campbell.English Comedian of the Year 2014 Jack combines story telling with smiling silly observations and his style is very much influenced by American comedians such as Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr. “100% funny” Broadway Baby.
Middle Act – TBC
Our MC is Juliet Meyers. Managing to mix silliness with edginess, Juliet Meyers has a chatty style that allows her to interact with the crowd; this makes her much in demand both as a comedian and an MC. She has been bringing her own brand of hilarious, cerebral, observational, gag –driven comedy to the stage for 10 years. “Devilish coy look, excellent material with some on the edge gags.” The Scotsman (4 star review)
