Event Description

We are taking part in the Heritage week by holding some Open Days. The theme this year is ‘Untold Stories’ so we will be putting some of our myths and legends around the Abbey for you to read.

On Friday 10/9 and Saturday 18/9 there will also be the following activities:
– Tower Tours to the Belfry at 11:00 and 13:00
– Churchyard Trail at 12:00
– Bell Ringing Demos between 14:00 and 16:00
On Saturday 18/9 there will also be a display of ephemera and artifacts.

On the two Sundays (12/9 and 19/9) the myths and legends will be on display and we are hoping for a little music during the afternoon.

On all days, of course, you will be able to take a self-guide or one of our guides will give you a personal tour.

Please note that we still require visitors to sanitise their hands, wear masks and provide contact details.
