Event Description

The opening event of an action-packed season, Combat at the Castle will transport visitors back to 1102, just prior to the first siege of Arundel Castle.

 

For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the garrison of the then Earl of Arundel, Robert de Belleme, as the troops train in preparation to receive the forces of King Henry I in the Duke Henry Courtyard.

 

This brand-new two-day event will also feature crafting, weaponry and armour demonstrations in the Stone Hall and the Keep, respectively, as well as archery and thrilling hand-to-hand combat on the grounds.

Tickets:

• From £11 for a child (5-16 yrs)
• From £13 for an adult
• From £51 for a family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children)
