An amazing 31 different species of butterfly have been recorded at Holkham National Nature Reserve. Enjoy a relaxing walk through our fabulous range of habitats in search of Painted Ladies, Dark Green Fritillaries, White Admirals and more! The abundance of wild flowers on the reserve attracts some truly magnificent butterflies. Our friendly guide will help you find and identify them. Round off the walk with coffee and cake at The Lookout.
Wear clothing suitable for weather conditions and off-road walking. Remember a sunhat, sunscreen and bring plenty of water. Bring binoculars, if you have them, although these can be borrowed. Meet outside The Lookout 10 minutes before the start of the walk.
