Event Description

In this month’s meeting we will have a making session run by Holly Inglis who will show us how to make a funky non-tradional ceramic coil pot in a former. Attendees will need to bring their own tools plus a plaster mold or small dish (cereal bowl or similar) which can be covered in damp newspaper to prevent the clay from sticking to it.

In the break we will vote on entries for the 2023 Peter Stocker Ceramics Award which has a prize of £75 for the winning entry. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Africa’. As this is the last meeting before Christmas we will have mulled wine and mince pies available during the break, so come dressed for the occasion!

The meeting will be held at Little Kingshill Village Hall (HP16 0DZ) on Friday 24th November from 8-10pm. Entry is free for BPSS members, £5 for visitors. For more information about the society see our website www.buckspotters.com. We are also on Facebook and Instagram.
