BERGH APTON & DISTRICT SOCIETY TALK

As a private pilot, Sally B Dearman flew herself into Royal Air Force Cranwell for her Initial Officer Training.  After six years’ service as a fighter controller she re-rolled to the pilot branch and became the first woman through the RAF’s fast-jet flying training system.

In this talk, Women Can Fly (At Seven Miles a Minute), Sally shares what led her to become the first woman through the RAF’s fast-jet flying training system,  facts relating to military flying and how to attract to repel noisy jets.

The meeting begins at 7.30 pm.  Tea/Coffee & biscuits served following talk.  Raffle.
