Event Description

Join local expert James Emerson and our knowledgeable volunteer Rodger for a family friendly walk around RSPB Strumpshaw Fen.  The hunt is on!  How many different species of fungi can we find and identify together?  This is aimed at enthusiastic beginners.  Find out about fascinating fungi in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The purpose of this walk is to observe the diverse fungi of the reserve and learn how to identify some of the species, please note that edibility and foraging for food will not be discussed.
