Have an EGG-CELLANT time this Easter at Palace House

Easter at Palace House, Newmarket is set to be one egg-cellant occasion! Join us between Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April for a fun-packed day out for all the family. 11am – 4pm daily.

Hop around the King’s Yard galleries with our specially designed Easter ‘Bingo’ Trail and have an egg-tastic time in our craft pod, creating a racing silks master piece that you can take home to remind you of your visit. Don’t forget to pick up your egg-cup at the main reception.

Feeling a little peckish? Well, you can grab an Easter Basket from the onsite Pantry Bakery and head to the Picnic Room in the Rothschild Yard, where you can meet the miniature donkeys, Pip and Plumb who will have an extra surprise waiting for you!

To make the most out of your day, don’t forget to explore all the galleries in the Museum and the abundance of beautiful artwork on display in the Palace which was built for Charles II. Get interactive with our our family audio-trail which features a host of fun quizzes and activities and factor in time to meet our retired racehorses and find out what they do after racing, with our live demonstrations at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Finally, your day won’t be complete without a visit to the racehorse simulator where you can dress up and experience the thrill of riding like a jockey!
