Despite the on-going pandemic and uncertain times the region still lots of seasonal events planned with safety measures in place. From drive-in pantos, santa visits, winter trails to virtual Christmas carol concerts you can sing along to this year!

We may not be able to attend them in person but many churches, charities and organisations are streaming their much-loved carol services online instead. Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury Cathedral has moved all of its services online — including their popular Christmas Day service. All you need to do is head over to their website on 25th December and enjoy. MORE INFO

Carol concert by Marie Curie
For the first time ever, charity Marie Curie is kicking off the festive season with an online carol concert for all to enjoy at home. The online service, Carols in the City at Home, will be streamed online on Monday 7th December at 19.00pm.
There’s lots to look forward to including performances by the chamber choir Canticum, saxophonist Rob Burton and seasonal readings by celebrity guests, so you really don’t want to miss this. MORE INFO
 
Virtual carols by the Alzheimer’s Society
To help boost the spirits of the nation, the Alzheimer’s Society is hosting a wonderful evening of virtual festivities on Thursday 17th December at 18:30pm.
Expect Christmas songs the whole family will love, plus a performance by musician and composer Paul Harvey. MORE INFO

Shelter’s carol concert
Shelter’s beautiful carol concert will include heartwarming readings, reflection, and songs for all to enjoy. Hosted from the candle-lit St Martin-in-the-Fields church, the service will reflect on the strengths and successes of this challenging year.
