This years’ alternative John Lewis Christmas advert is a charity homemade ad to raise money for the elderly, it’s story of loss and sorrow which celebrates the unbreakable bond between dogs and their owners, it has just been released — and it has left viewers in tears. It is dedicated to all who have faced hardships during 2020.

On Youtube, producer Sam Clegg wrote:

“This story is one of loss and sorrow which some viewers may find distressing, but with this video/campaign we hope to turn a negative into a positive by donating all of the proceeds made from the song to multiple charities that support the elderly in the UK.”
“With each £0.79p purchase it will help give support and companionship to the elderly who need it most in 2020. 100% of the money will be donated to charity.”
