Reading quartet The Amazons stand on the cusp of making a major breakthrough in 2017. The band have just been named in three of the UK’s most influential new artist lists: the BBC Sound of 2017 poll;MTV’s Brand New for 2017 shortlist; and Apple Music New Artists 2017 list.

These latest developments follow a rapid rise in The Amazons’ fortunes. Last year they were nominated for the Q Award for Best Breakthrough Act, while their current single ‘Little Something’ was premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World.

‘Little Something’ will also feature on the band’s forthcoming debut album which has been recorded withCatherine Marks (Wolf Alice, Foals, The Vaccines) in Flood and Alan Moulder’s famous Assault and Battery studio in London.

The Amazons’ have announced details of an extensive UK tour that runs from February through to April.
